Stonerose Interpretive Center in Ferry County County is rich in Ferry County heritage, constituting several churches and a collection of artifacts. Stonerose Interpretive Center’s collections include furniture, history DVDs, obituaries, and local history books, preserved and displayed for recreational and educational purposes.

The history of the Stonerose Interpretive Center traces back to the 1918 Gothic Revival Church. The site houses numerous churches arising within the 20th century and are of different denominations.

Apart from the 1904 Gothic church, the Stonerose Interpretive Center includes:

  • Republic memorial annex and gardens.
  • The ranch house.

Stonerose Interpretive Center Services

The Stonerose Interpretive Center’s mission is to collect, preserve, invest and display the culture and history of Ferry County county. In delivering its mandate, the Stonerose Interpretive Center partners with the public in collecting important artifacts such as pictures and tools.

The Stonerose Interpretive Center offers the following services to the public:

  • Members of the public are granted free admission to the Stonerose Interpretive Center.
  • The Stonerose Interpretive Center rents the church building for small gatherings. The building has a kitchen, meeting area, a restroom and is ADA-accessible.
  • The Stonerose Interpretive Center offers employment and volunteer opportunities.
  • The Stonerose Interpretive Center offers ticket sales, membership registrations to help fund its operations.
  • The Stonerose Interpretive Center holds events and fundraisers throughout the year to help raise funds for supporting its operations.
