Services Offered by the Shoreline Health Department
The Shoreline Health Department is requesting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to develop the King County County community health assessment and the health improvement plan for King County County. The purpose of the Shoreline Health Department and improvement plan is to provide evidence-based data and information on factors that influence the health of King County County residents.
The Shoreline Health Department’s vision is to develop a community-wide effort to improve the health status of all King County County residents through prevention strategies, partnerships, education, and advocacy efforts.
Today Shoreline Health Department staff provide services that promote and protect the health of the King County community. These services include:
- Shoreline Restaurant inspections
- Food worker cards for King County County residents
- Childhood immunizations for King County County residents
- WIC – Women, Infants and Children nutrition program in King County community
- Infectious disease control and prevention in King County County
- Environmental health permits and inspections in King County County
- Dental sealants (for Children)
- Maternal/child health services in Shoreline
- King County Health education programs
