The purpose of the Tacoma / Pierce County Health Department and improvement plan is to provide evidence-based data and information on factors that influence the health of Pierce County County residents.

The Tacoma / Pierce County Health Department’s vision is to develop a community-wide effort to improve the health status of all Pierce County County residents through prevention strategies, partnerships, education, and advocacy efforts.
