The history of the Skagit County Historical Museum traces back to the 1906 Gothic Revival Church. The site houses numerous churches arising within the 20th century and are of different denominations.

The Skagit County Historical Museum’s mission is to collect, preserve, invest and display the culture and history of Skagit County county. In delivering its mandate, the Skagit County Historical Museum partners with the public in collecting important artifacts such as pictures and tools.
