Tieton Landfill often called the Yakima County County Sanitary Landfill, is a municipal solid waste landfill located in rural Yakima County County, Washington. The Tieton Landfill is owned and operated by Tieton City and accepts Waste from the Tieton city and surrounding Yakima County County area. The Tieton Landfill is located in 1251 Humphrey Road, Tieton, Washington, 98947. The Tieton Landfill currently covers over 447 acres and occupies a total area of over 645 acres.
Mulch, compost/manure, and wood chips are available for Tieton Landfill’s self-hauling customers. Tieton Landfill includes furniture, appliances (less dishwasher), mattresses and box springs, carpet (must be cut 4 feet and rolled or folded), toilets, sinks, etc. as bulky waste.

- Six-month landfill permit: $26.00
- The minimum charge for noncommercial loads is $5. Tieton Landfill accepts various payment modes, including cash, checks, or credit cards at the scale house, and they have a dropbox for after-hour payment.
